Brooksville FL – First of all just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to our first event, we had an amazing turn out and I was really impressed with not just the talent level but the positive attitudes of everyone came; meeting most for the first time. We were expecting and prepared for a tourney of about 6 teams on one field to having over a dozen teams show up but we made it work with 3 fields last minute and finished it all in 1 day. And a SPECIAL THANKS to Josh Nichols, Trevor Bauer, Wade Swikle, Tom Gannon, Shawn Mersiel, Dustin Staggs, Mikah Garcia, Daniel Healy & the guy from the Hi-Flyers with Smitty on this jersey for helping with set up, umpiring & equipment throughout the weekend. The great news is this the new permanent home of Florida PLW and we can only grow from here after such an impressive start!
