Las Vegas: I wanted to thank everyone who contacted me with dozens of options for potential places to play and I looked into every one some more promising than others. Going into 2025 it looked like we had 4 solid options of where we could play comfortably and maintain a quality production however 1 by 1 each became a no-go. So Season 7 is still on hold until we can find a suitable field. Currently exploring the option of using a van for a portable control room and be able to set up each time we play. This would require more work than before and a bigger commitment from an already overworked stream team however it could be a much needed bridge until we can find a more permanent home in Vegas.
Tampa: PLW will be expanding to North Tampa Area and will be hosting PLW tournaments on many weekends and eventually work towards adding an East Coast League Division to play M-F 6:05 EST.
Unlike Vegas, the new PLW facilities will have 3 full acres of the 10 dedicated to PLW with a generous parking lot and 3 or 4 fields where streaming weekend PLW tournaments will be a main focus. There’s not a set time table yet as we will be working with the county to file all the proper permits within their guidelines.
Ultimate Goals: At the end of the day, we’re just a bunch of grown adults who take a kids game way too seriously and there hasn’t been a moment of regret for it. We are nothing without dreams. AND the ultimate dream is having two strong leagues on both coasts & see their champion teams face off in a 7 game series once a year to determine which coast will claim year long bragging rights.
