The PLW Swing-Off Challenge is used in specific tournament formats to determine which team earns the final wildcard playoff spot.
Lineup
Each team sets a lineup of 6 batters.
A member of that same team will pitch to their own hitters during the Swing-Off Challenge.
Count and Pitch Rules
Each batter starts with an 0-1 count.
Any pitch that is not swung at will be called a strike.
Scoring System
Teams earn points based on the result of each fair ball:

Hit Definitions
A single is any fair ball that touches the outfield grass.
A double is any fair ball that touches the outfield wall.
A triple is any fair ball that hits the outfield wall on a fly.
A home run is any fair ball hit over the fence.
Number of Batters
A team may rotate through its lineup once for every win earned in pool play.

Final Score
Each team adds up the total points from its best 6 outcomes during the Swing-Off Challenge.
The team with the most points wins the wildcard playoff spot.
Tiebreaker
If teams are tied after counting their best 6 outcomes, the tied teams will continue the Swing-Off Challenge using sudden death.
Each team will send one batter at a time. The team with the higher-scoring result after the same number of batters wins the tiebreaker.
