The PLW National Draft: Your Opportunity to Join Premier League Wiffs

Premier League Wiffle is preparing for its biggest season yet, and player registration is now open for the PLW National Draft.

Players from across the United States are invited to register for an opportunity to compete in Florida and become part of PLW’s growing league system. Whether you are an experienced wiffleball player, a former baseball player or a talented athlete looking for a new competitive opportunity, the National Draft is your chance to get noticed. Must turn 18 before opening day.

What Is the PLW?

Premier League Wiffle—better known as PLW—is a competitive wiffleball organization based in Brooksville, Florida.

PLW features organized teams, player statistics, standings, postseason competition and live broadcasts. Only 10 teams can be in the top streamed league as relegation eliminates the 2 bottom teams every season. Games are played on dedicated wiffleball fields and streamed online for fans around the country.

The league uses a fast-paced six-inning format with six defensive players, no gloves and a 55 MPH pitching-speed limit for “called strikes”. Players compete in a structured environment designed to combine serious competition with entertaining live broadcasts.

Two Seasons per year, each season if 54 games, each team playing 1 home series and 1 away series vs each opponent each season.

Who Should Register?

PLW is looking for competitive players who are dependable, coachable and ready to become part of a growing sports organization.

Registration is open to players from Florida and throughout the United States. Players should be prepared to provide information about their athletic background, playing experience, availability and ability to travel or relocate if necessary.

Registering does not guarantee that a player will be drafted. It places the player into the PLW draft pool for evaluation and possible team selection.

More Than Just League Games

PLW continues to expand its weeknight league, weekend tournament circuit and live-streaming operation. The long-term goal is to create more opportunities for players while building wiffleball into a consistent and entertaining spectator sport.

Players selected through the National Draft could have the opportunity to compete in organized league games, tournaments and special events while building their own player profile through statistics and live broadcasts.
