PLW End of Summer Showdown Coming August 29
Premier League Wiffle is closing out the summer with another full day of competitive wiffleball in Brooksville, Florida.
The PLW End of Summer Showdown will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The tournament will feature guaranteed games, cash prizes, and additional awards for the best-dressed teams.
Tournament Details
Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Brooksville, Florida
Team Entry Fee: $250
Game Guarantee: Three games per team
Teams should arrive early enough to check in, warm up, and be ready to begin play on schedule.
Tournament Prizes
The End of Summer Showdown will award the following prizes:
Tournament Champion: $1,500 cash
Runner-Up: $400 future tournament credit
In addition to the tournament prizes, PLW will also recognize the teams that bring the best uniforms, themes, and overall presentation.
Professional Team Presentation Awards
PLW wants every team to arrive looking like a legitimate, organized ballclub. These awards are intended to encourage teams to invest in matching, high-quality uniforms that look professional both on the field and in tournament photography.
Best Team Presentation: $200 cash
Runner-Up Team Presentation: $100 cash
Teams will be judged on:
- Matching baseball-style jerseys
- Coordinated pants, hats, and team colors
- Clean, consistent uniforms across the roster
- Professional team branding and logos
- Overall appearance in photographs and video
Matching T-shirts and athletic shorts may be coordinated, but they will not receive the same consideration as complete baseball-style uniforms. This is not a costume contest. Novelty outfits, joke themes, and Halloween-style attire are not the purpose of the award.
Player Requirements
This is a 21-and-older event. No children or pets will be permitted at the tournament.
Players should be prepared for a competitive outdoor event and bring everything they need for the day, including proper athletic clothing, hydration, and any personal equipment. No metal spikes, we provide balls and some bats.
